Overview

We are at the crest of two cultural waves, the transition to clean renewable energy and the adoption of induction cooking. We need someone with strong communication skills and the ability to support others through change.

Specifically, the Customer Service Associate will be responsible for producing and publishing outward-facing content and communications campaigns. Reporting to the Customer Success Manager, the Customer Service Associate will work closely with the Marketing team to convert inbound interest into sales and the engineering team to resolve any customer issues.

This is a regular, part-time role. The ideal candidate will work 20 hours per week, 9 am - 1 pm, in person at our workshop in West Berkeley, CA. Compensation for the role will be $35 per hour. Apply with your resume and cover letter.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee and triage Help Desk and Inbox inquiries daily.
  • Answer Inbox inquiries to achieve 'Inbox Zero'.
  • Assign emails in the Help Desk and Inbox to the appropriate team members for follow-up.
  • Process key customer service requests, including refunds, appliance service tickets, and order modifications.
  • Contribute to and update the snippet library as needed.
  • Handle support calls and proactively reach out to customers when necessary.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $35 per hour.
