The Senior Process Engineer will have a large impact in developing Cuberg’s next generation cell by working in many cross functional roles. Responsibilities include pilot manufacturing process development, equipment development, materials characterization, and equipment troubleshooting.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, have prior R&D or pilot production engineering experience, take pride in the quality of their work, and work well in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop processes for product assembly and packaging at a pilot scale
• Innovate on incumbent processes relating to cell assembly and packaging
• Transition processes from R&D to pilot scale production
• Lead equipment acceptance testing, commissioning, and handoff to production
• Initiate and drive cross-functional projects
• Support in R&D process troubleshooting as needed
• Correctly identify manufacturing process knowledge gaps and close them methodically
• Document procedures and provide training and coaching to manufacturing associates as well as maintenance technicians as needed
