  • Analyze production and injection data, pressure transient data, rate-transient data, diagnostic fracture injection test (DFIT) data, and tracers
  • Conduct uncertainty quantification studies for reservoir field diagnostic tests and well performance

Field Operations Support

  • Use reservoir simulation and field data to support operational decisions
  • Develop and implement data acquisition and well testing, including 2-phase flow, programs for Fervo field projects; develop well testing procedures and analyze field data
  • Support pad facilities and power plant design decisions based on well performance and forecasts

Reservoir Simulation & Forecasting

  • Perform model sensitivity analysis and optimization studies, driving well enhancements for future development
  • Develop production forecasts to evaluate various reservoir management strategies and development plans
  • History match geothermal reservoir simulation models based on field-wide stimulation and production data
  • Participate in industry meetings and conferences

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in engineering
  • 6+ years of engineering experience in the oil and gas or geothermal industries
