Sr. Piping Engineer
Noble Thermodynamic Systems
In this role, you will take charge of key responsibilities, starting with process design, including performing process simulations, analyzing process data, and preparing process control narratives. You will develop essential engineering documentation (e.g., PFDs, H&MBs, etc.) and conduct safety reviews (e.g., HAZOP) to ensure safe, reliable, and code compliant designs. You will provide technical oversight ensuring successful process implementation during construction and operation of the plants. Finally, you will create cost estimates and conduct lifecycle and techno-economic analyses to evaluate the competitiveness and positive environmental impact of different process designs.
In this role, you will oversee multiple concurrent projects across the full project lifecycle—from design through procurement, permitting, construction, and commissioning. You will actively manage and coordinate engineering, operations, and external partners to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and safety standards. You will drive critical planning and execution activities including contractor oversight and coordination, schedule management, cost tracking, risk mitigation strategy, and regulatory compliance. This position is ideal for a goal-oriented, technically proficient leader with strong project execution instincts and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In this role, your exceptional leadership and communication skills will complement your technical expertise as you coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders in the planning and execution of engineering projects, including the preparation of project bids. You will clearly and convincingly present complex ideas, drive decision-making, secure stakeholder buy-in, and foster collaboration to achieve outstanding collective outcomes.
In this role, you will take full ownership of piping systems across different and concurrent projects, from early conceptual design through construction, commissioning, and operations support. You will develop efficient piping systems that reduce cost and maintenance intervals, increase reliability, and enable system packability all the while maintaining system accessibility, serviceability, and safety. You will provide technical oversight ensuring successful piping system implementation during construction and operation of the plants. Your contributions to the piping system design will directly impact the scalability, safety, and efficiency of the world’s cleanest and most efficient power plant. Your successful execution in this role will radically accelerate the Argon Power Cycle™ deployment and expand affordable access to clean and reliable power, delivering measurable, large-scale reductions in global air-pollutants and carbon emissions.
In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and validation of advanced industrial power control and automation systems. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary engineering team, external partners, and contractors to develop systems that meet stringent performance, safety, and regulatory standards. You will also provide technical oversight to ensure the successful implementation of SCADA systems. Your contributions to automation and controls will directly influence the speed and scale at which zero-emission power plants are deployed across the United States and internationally. Success in this role will help expand affordable access to clean, safe, and reliable energy by enhancing system flexibility, improving operational efficiency, and driving down costs—while delivering measurable, large-scale reductions in global air pollutants and carbon emissions.
