Chris received a Ph.D. in bioengineering jointly awarded by UC Berkeley and UC San Francisco under Professor Jay Keasling’s supervision. Prior to founding Perlumi, Chris was a postdoctoral researcher specializing in metabolic engineering and enzyme engineering for sustainable chemical production.
