PseudolithIC, Inc is a rapidly-growing semiconductor start-up company based in Santa Barbara, CA pioneering heterogeneous integration. This position is for a Technical Program Manager. We are looking for a team member comfortable with a dynamic work environment to provide technical and programmatic leadership for semiconductor projects and participate as a hands-on member of the technical team in support of our government and commercial customers.

The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will be responsible for managing multiple small to medium programs with varying levels of maturity. They will oversee program performance, project execution, technical risks, business goals, and customer relationships. They must have a technical background in semiconductor hardware and/or RF and mmWave circuit design.

Responsibilities

  • Program Management: Establish and implement program objectives for on-time product deliveries. Prioritize and communicate goals, understand stakeholder needs, and contribute to decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables. Oversee and coordinate the cost, schedule, and technical details of assigned engineering projects.
  • Technical Support: Review key metrics, monitor deviations, and define corrective actions. Contribute to select engineering tasks as needed in a direct, hands-on manner.
  • Technical Analysis: Compare technical trade-offs, refine analysis with team members, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project Development: Identify and develop new opportunities, define project scopes, and manage project plans.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and outside vendors.
  • Other Duties: Support marketing, business development, and provide hands-on technical contributions as needed. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred: Advanced degree in Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 3 years of experience.
  • Background in RF and mmWave applications, systems engineering, hardware development, semiconductor design, or related field.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication technologies and processes.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of program management software is a plus.

The candidate must pass a background check and meet Export Control compliance requirements. Therefore, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Compensation is dependent on experience and includes salary, bonus, 401k, and health benefits.
