Our mission is to expand access to load flexibility through distributed storage. We currently operate New York City’s largest indoor residential battery virtual power plant with Con Edison, as featured in Canary Media and CBS New York. Standard Potential is headquartered in the NYC energy and climate technology ecosystem and supported by prominent partners such as NYSERDA, Activate, and Breakthrough Energy.
The Role:
We’re looking for a creative, motivated Marketing Intern to help drive our utility customer recruitment campaigns. You’ll get hands-on experience in social media, email marketing, community engagement, and campaign strategy, all while helping us grow participation in a real-world clean energy program.
What You’ll Do:
- Support marketing and social media campaigns to recruit new customer
- Help convert leads in the program pipeline
- Assist in designing emails, social posts, and other marketing content
- Track campaign performance and contribute ideas to optimize results
- Plan partnerships and community engagement events to raise awareness
Who You Are:
- Based in New York City (preferred)
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Sustainability, or similar
- Excited about marketing, social media, and sustainability
- Skilled with social media platforms
- Experience with design tools like Canva or Adobe are a plus
- Organized, self-motivated, and creative
